I realized yesterday that the new Bones Soundtrack had been released so I went searching on iTunes to check it out. I liked alot of the songs, but not enough to buy the whole album. However, there was one song in particular that I was looking for and happy day, there it was! The song is called "Bring on the Wonder" by Susan Enan. It's a really beautiful song and even though I can't remember the exact scene in Bones that it was connected to, I do remember feeling the raw emotion of the scene due to this song. I went ahead and got a Playlist account so that I could post the whole song on here for you to listen to. I've also got the lyrics, to act as your QotD. Enjoy and tell me what you think!
Bring on the Wonder
By: Susan Enan
I can't see the stars anymore living here
Lets go to the hills where the outlines are clear
Bring on the wonder
Bring on the song
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long
I fell through the cracks at the end of our street
Lets go to the beach, get the sand through our feet
Bring on the wonder
Bring on the song
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long
Bring on the wonder
We got it all wrong
We pushed you down deep in our souls for too long
I don't have the time for a drink from the cup
Let's rest for a while 'til our souls catch us up
Bring on the wonder
Bring on the song
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long
Bring on the wonder
We got it all wrong
We pushed you down deep in our souls, so hang on
Bring on the wonder
Bring on the song
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long.
